Firebrand Candidates

It’s my opinion Trump styled firebrands are going to be entering politics in increasing numbers; whether, this is a good thing remains to be seen. Part of the reason for this is Republicans’ views of running candidates like Trump in which his popularity was based on Trump is a firebrand and certainly not a war hawk or a dove or even a moderate speaker. When attacked, Trump returned fire, and many people applaud him for it as a breath of fresh air. If Trump runs in 2024, it’s his popularity as a firebrand that people support not entirely the best ideal, but many rank and file Republicans left the field with Bush Republicanism, Neocons, and Social Conservatives running the show. These are the various RINO groups according to rank and file Republicans long before Trump picked it up and started using it.

In terms of speaking, Biden was certainly conservative; he didn’t really exit his comfort zone because well he didn’t need to spending so many years in DC forming alliances and even friendships. I would call Biden many things but a fighter isn’t one of them, and Biden’s approval ratings depending the poll hangs around between 29-39% and focusing on the wrong things. Heck, they’re blaming inflation of the price of gas via regulated scarcity as price gouging. This is where Biden is much like Trump; he simply isn’t willing to accept responsibility that his policies negatively impacts the economy and the worst impacted are the impoverished and working classes regardless of demographics. His VP Harris is a fighter. Harris approval rating is lower, but she’s a fighter and one who is also ambitious enough to become President.

It’s pretty simple when your policies wrecks havoc in the economy; you alter course to improve it not for your agendas but for your voters including those that didn’t vote for you. If Biden were to reverse course and seek to help actually unite the nation again, his approval would increase, but I doubt Biden will. Harris won’t either; their political futures depends on trying to force success where it’s presently and for the foreseeable future an utter failure.

The chances of civility returning to politics anytime soon seems like an dream at this point in my view; it’s way too polarized.

Biden might want to reconsider his policies; his search for a scapegoat isn’t going to help him. January 6th Committee isn’t going to help him, and it’ll be viewed as political if it doesn’t end in recommended indictment/s but time will tell there. At the moment, it looks like a witch hunt. I personally wouldn’t call January 6th an insurrection, but it certainly was a riot.

What Biden needs more than anything is reprioritize his administration, it won’t; due to, it’s own arrogance this is why Biden is scapegoating looking for price gouging. I mean seriously WTF if you’re going to spend 4 years blaming Trump is a dictator for failing to take responsibility then what does it say about you doing the same thing? Biden should step down for Harris who is a firebrand Democrat.
